A clean catalogue without the inventory complexity
YouDoAccounting does not track inventory quantities. There is no stock count, no batch or lot tracking, no warehouse module. That is a deliberate choice for businesses that sell time, services and consumables rather than stocked goods.
What you do get is a fast, well-organised catalogue of physical, service and time products with hierarchical categories, native units of measure, multiple product images and supplier-linked defaults that make data entry quick.
If your business genuinely needs tracked inventory, YouDoAccounting is not the right tool. If it does not, you save the cost and complexity that comes with everyone else trying to sell you one.

Product Detail
Every product carries the data needed to make data entry fast across sales, purchases, quotes and time tracking. Set the defaults once on the product and they pull through automatically wherever the product is used.
Categories are recursive — parent and child relationships at any depth, defined by you. Time products link to the timesheet for invoicing. Physical and service products carry unit of measure, markup and supplier defaults.
