Record a user’s absence with its type, dates, times, status and description, then include it in the same scheduling context as project tasks and actual time.
Time off is integrated with YouDoTime planning. Managers can account for leave and absence before allocating work, while the user’s time workspace keeps working time and absence records easy to review.
Identify who will be away and the type of absence being recorded.
Record a full day, part of a day or a period covering several dates.
Keep the request’s working status and any useful explanation with the record.
The request form supports a single day or a period with separate start and finish dates. Start and end times allow a part-day absence to be represented, while the all-day setting handles a full working day.
The absence type and description explain why the time has been reserved. Its status provides the review information needed before managers rely on it in the team schedule.
This is a temporary application example and may be replaced as the interface and demonstration data are updated.
An absence record becomes more useful when it informs the same schedule used for project tasks and planned hours.
Bring absence into the date range used to review recorded time and scheduled project tasks.
See when a user is away before assigning budget hours or moving planned work onto that date.
Review time off from the user’s time workspace instead of maintaining an unrelated absence list.
YouDoTime records absence and its approval data so the information can be considered during scheduling. This page does not claim payroll processing, statutory leave calculations or an automatic holiday-entitlement engine.
The practical purpose is to give the project and time workflow a realistic view of when people are available.
A project task has eight budget hours allocated to Thursday, but its assigned user has an approved all-day absence. The planner can see the conflict and move the work to an available date before the customer delivery is affected.
When the task is eventually completed, the actual time is recorded against the task as normal and can continue into the weekly timesheet.
